Joe LaFrance is a freelance director originally from Guilford, CT. He specializes in narrative films and music videos, including a wide variety of genres within each category. Whether he is watching movies with his friends, spending his weekends on set, or diving deep into pre-production, Joey’s love for film is what continues to drive him to create. He aims to tell insightful, symbolic stories through traditional methods of filmmaking.

Joe graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in June 2024 with a B.F.A in Film & Television. In his time at SCAD, he learned different strategies to work with actors, studied how to tell a meaningful story through intentional shot design, and learned how to lead a team of creative collaborators to achieve one cohesive artistic vision. Joe also had the opportunity to work on a feature film for Bleecker Street, giving him an understanding of the film industry on a deeper level. Based in the New York City/New England area, Joe is excited to get involved with the industry and work on projects that will have a lasting impact.
